Study
This school offers many courses around artistic and graphic design practicies. The first cycle of studies in three year aim to assist students gettings technical tools of artistic creation, and a personal practice. After a first year spended to experiment a large field of possibilities, students have to choose a voice between two specialities, art or multimedia graphic design. Pau is quite well known for teaching web design. This first grade gives the DNA, recognized as a Bachelor's degree.

Research
Beside theorical classes even during the first cycle, students can choose to continue in research by joining second cycle and writing a personal dissertation. They have to defense it after the redaction. Making a fourth year also offers the opportunity of making an internship or an erasmus program during the second semester. The final step is the fifth year which consist of creating a project to present it in front of a jury at the end of the scholar year and get the DNSEP. This one is recognized as a Master’s degree.
Association life
The ÉSAD Pyrénées has a wonderful student association called Passage. This group of dynamic people rythms the school's life by organizing events and parties. Life is funnier in group, so join us to take great time.

Human-sized city
The last but not least point is that Pau is a pleasant and small city. It's not renowned for the nightclubs or the good weather but you can still enjoy your life while living here. The Pyrénées moutains are very close and you can see it even from the city! This calm background is a inspiring setting for creation. Graphic design events are in the hand of the Bel Ordinaire, a contemporary art and graphic design museum, and the Accès)s( Festival.
