A fictional communication campaign for Lyon’s Nuits Sonores, with the production of a series of posters, an animated poster and an interactive sound system. The heart of this project is this interactive device on which three types of shape can be observed, each associated with sounds. The device is activated by touch, playing the sound corresponding to its shape. By combining them, users can create their own melodies and visualize the sounds they hear.
A series of screen-printed posters accompanies the installation. Each shape was created following principles of repetition and looping.
The animated poster was created to contextualize the whole project, and includes the main information about the festival. To show the
music in this poster, I focused on the
rhythm of the letters, which move in
a regular tempo.
*This little booklet is an annexed object in which I’ve associated shapes with sounds or sensations. It provides a better understanding of the shapes present on the interactive device.
